Beat the Heat! Summer in the south!

by | Jun 26, 2015 | Moving

So don’t sweat yourself into the hospital! Temperatures in Winston-Salem and the surrounded Triad have been unseasonably hot very quickly. We have been reach temperatures with the heat index of 100 degrees. If you work outside you feel every bit of it and it can be unforgiving and beyond uncomfortable.

Make sure all you outside workers are dipping your beaks in plenty of water today!!! This heat is nothing to play with! Don’t dehydrate and be at risk for heat exhaustion! Also remember too much gatorade can be a bad thing and have a reverse effect. Healthy tip- you should be drinking half of your body in ounces each day! Example if you weight 150 pounds you should have 75 oz of water daily! Stay cool and healthy! And remember to do your rain dance daily!
